Shalom
First of all let me wish you and your families "SHANA TOVA" and pray that your names be inscribed in the "Good Book of Life".
With great joy and pleasure, I present you with Part 17 titled "Berakhot - Blessing (VII) - Grace after Meal (1/2)" of my series "PRAYING WITH UNDERSTANDING".
In the earlier part 16 we studied blessings before partaking. In this part we understand how important it is to Bless G-d after partaking.
How fortunate we are that when we do Grace after meal, we are actually continuing the great tradition of Prophet Abraham and the Berakhah that we recite today is what Moshe Rabbenu composed and recited nearly 3000 years ago during the Exodus.
I have also attached audio recording of nearly 2000 year old traditionalTsur Me'shelo song (recorded in my voice) along with text, translation and transliteration of this beautiful song in this part. Thie recording is in four parts corresponding to its four paragraphs. You may play individual file or select all and then play the whole song. These files can be opened in WMPlayer or any standard media player.
